When to book your maternity session
Maternity pictures are best to be taken between weeks 30 and 35 of your pregnancy. Although this may vary from mom to mom, generally this time frame is when baby bumps look the most round and beautiful. It is important you do not wait to have your pictures taken until you are too far along as you may start feeling a bit more tired and baby arriving at any time. If you have any questions or doubts about when to book your portrait session please call us at 416-854-0594 and we will answer all your questions. We will have a private pre-consultation to talk about your vision and style for your portrait session, as well as wardrobe and locations for the shoot. At DreamLight Image we like moms-to-be to feel pampered and special. This is your day! This is the most important and unique time in your life. As part of your experience we can provide make up application and hair style as an add-on. If this is something that interests you, please let us know at the time of booking your session.
What to wear for your family session
Your family portraits are of the highest importance to DreamLight Image. When it comes to your family pictures, the secret to success is planning. Thinking of what to wear can be a bit confusing and overwhelming to some; different factors play a role in deciding the most suitable colors and styles. Let us ease that off your shoulders. Based on our experience, we will walk you through the whole process of selecting your wardrobe, and suggest color combinations and styles for your whole family. Ask us for a full guide so you can plan ahead of time what you will wear the day of the shoot.
When to book your newborn photo session?
You need to plan for your newborn session to take place within the first 7-10 days of the baby's life. With the exception of a few, during the first few days of life is when babies can be much easily moved and posed while asleep as they don't wake up so much. It is best if you book your newborn session while still pregnant to avoid disappointment.

Booking your High School Senior session
If you are a high school senior or will be next year, contact DreamLight Image ASAP. We are always looking for "senior reps" to photograph. What is a senior rep? It is a senior that we select from those who contact us to be part of a model program for the whole year! We will have 3-4 fun photo sessions during the year, as a group and individual, to promote our work. We provide hair and makeup for every session... so imagine to come, be pampered and photographed for a few hours! Not bad, right?
You don't pay for any of the sessions while in the model program and receive awesome freebies. The more you promote us among your friends and on social media, the more you get. A non refundable retainer of $ 50 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. The balance is due on or before the day of the photo shoot.
